Photography is my passion, plus a few other things. But aside from photography, I also love teaching and sharing what I know about this special Craft with other people. I love the feeling of framing my images moments before pressing the shutter. What better way to share what I love to do than running some short courses for ACArts and seeing my students learn and engage with Photography in new and exciting ways. I have been teaching at the college in a variety of Art related studios and in particular Photography for a while now and the good news is, I have two upcoming courses if you’re interested!
Firstly AcArts will be running a series of Winter School intensives from Dance to Photography. I will be teaching Using a DSLR Camera, focusing on the fundamental technical skills and principles as well as composition and other creative skills to develop each student’s confidence in using their DSLR. This course is a three day intensive and by the end of our three days together you will be using their cameras in full manual mode and with confidence. The course starts on July 13 until July 15 and is incredibly hands on. Costs AU$540 and will take place at Adelaide College of the Arts. This particular 3 day intensive is highly recommended for beginners who want to make most use of their DSLRs. Numbers are very limited as i prefer to work with small groups.
Starting in August i'll also be running one of my absolute favourite short courses, PHOTOGRAPHIC PORTRAITURE. This course is highly recommended for those who have basic camera fundamental skills and are wanting to take their photography to the next level. Its a perfect compliment to my winter school offering. Learn under a highly hands on workshop enviorment in a photographic studio, focusing on the technicalities of pose, setting and lighting. Wipe that Vaseline off your lens and update your Portraiture techniques with a contemporary edge. Priced at a very reasonable AU$350 per student and starting on August 6 until September 10. Both courses will take place at Adelaide College of Arts. Places are limited.
If you’re interested in this Winter offering or Photographic Portraiture , please don’t hesitate to get in touch for more information. Numbers are limited as i prefer to work in small groups, so make sure you book your place so you don't miss out. Follow the links below to book your spot.
